What is STEAM?

STEAM is a model for curriculum based on natural learning and the idea of educating students across all disciplines - specifically science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics - by integrating each into an overarching applied approach. You may also recognize the term S.T.E.M., which is the very same model without explicit inclusion of the arts, which we greatly value throughout Richland-Bean Blossom (R-BB). These terms - STEM and STEAM - may be used interchangeably. STEM is everywhere and in everything we do, and how we live. From the natural world around us to the tablets in our hands that show us the world far, far away. STEM builds thinkers, doers and innovators!
