Edgewood High School Celebrates 50 years

Over one hundred alumni, current and former staff members gathered together on Sunday January, 25, 2015 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Edgewood High School. The event kicked off with a homestyle meal from Schnitzelbank Catering. RBBCSC Superintendent, Dr. Mike Wilcox, EHS Principal, Dirk Ackerman, and EHS Teacher, Jeff Carmichael all took part in leading an after dinner program.

The Hoofbeat

newspaperThe Hoofbeat Newspaper has been a print publication for many years. This year, they are making the transition to an online newspaper. The staff will be posting new stories and photos weekly, and posting polls, and quick read bios daily. 'Tis the Season

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Edgewood Choral Department will be presenting their annual Christmas Show Saturday, December 6, 7:30 PM and Sunday, December 7, 2:00 PM in the EHS auditorium. Pre-sale tickets will be sold in the EHS Commons each night this week through Thrusday, December 4 from 5:30-7:00PM or Saturday, December 6 from 10:00-12:00PM. Tickets are $6 and $8 dependent on seating location.

Veteran's Day Program

On November 10, Edgewood Junior High Students joined Edgewood High School for a joint Veteran's Day program. Special recognition was given to many family members of staff and students who have served in the military. Active military members were also honored. The junior high band, and choirs from both schools provided musical tributes.
